Sweet Suffering

Most holy godhead so human
Born in a manger to a woman
Every knee bow down in awe
Universe its savior saw
Triumphant thy sweet suffering

Triune God revealed his humanity
Meeting their noble divinity
To be the unmoved mover
Planted in our heart thou sower
Triumphant thy sweet suffering

Thy tranquility so radiant
 Godness thou so obedient
Cared for the poor and lowly
Giving hope to everyone slowly
Triumphant thy sweet suffering

You clutched the humble hearted
Extreme concern for the hope departed
You trampled the people of fame
Made them cover with shame
Triumphant thy sweet sorrow

Thou liveth a life so shortly
Alluring millions of people briefly
Suffered a painful ordeal
Death on a cross so big deal
Triumphant thy sweet sorrow

A Poem for Lent

Mothers Love

A little creation in mothers womb
Created all the difference
Her cheeks broadened with joy
A tiny creature in her arms
Helpless in her bosom so warm

Her whole being tingled with cheer
Filling her guts with joyous song
Bursting out with laughter
Whilst baby remained sacred
Helpless in mothers clutch

No more sorrow for she is triumphant
Her heart has no malice
A pure love towards her creature
For she created a noble human
Helpless in her breasts

Mother, always love personified
Love so selfless and divine
My tears became her acute pain
My smile became her sparkle of hope
Helpless in her hands

It hurt her every time I shed tears
Causing her heart to cumbersome
Yet she sympathized with a smile
Sorrow hidden behind her lips
Helpless child in her heart

Nation of the common man

Indian politics has been a jigsaw puzzle for a long time. It either depended on the familiar clan or based on certain ideologies. For a long time people voted because either they belong to the great congress party or a party which promotes a bharath, a local name for India. It was almost a routine trend that either congress will rule the nation or the BJP. After a long tenure of ten years the congress saw its demise when powerful new leader won a sweeping majority to form the government. Mr. Modi raised his party to the hight of win over all other parties.
When Modi came to be the administrator of the nation it was obvious that people wanted a change and not because he was a better leader. It is true that every Indian thinks that every politician is equally corrupt as the other. Hence there is a laxity in interest in politics. It's true that most politicians are corrupt and their electoral promises remain promises. Modi is known for his oratory skills who can capture the crowd with words. Everyone expected a lot from Modi but the expectations remained unanswered. It is obvious that his foreign policy made him popular in the international sphere whereas he remained a mumb at home. People went bizarre when price for the crude oil decreased and India had no price decrease for along time. At last when it did happen people attributed this to Modi administration without knowing the international market price. Matter of fact international crude price has decreased drastically but it's still staggering in India.
Recent atrocities against minorities is clear evidence of his difficiency in his administration. The present government assured protection to the minorities from the religiously motivated terrorist in India. But Mr. Modi has not made any solid and strong statements against religious violence so far. It is commendable to hear home minister extending his support to the minorities in this great nation. I know that home ministry is responsible to clear the religious terrorists but I expected Modi to make statements as my leader and leader of you all.
I would like to commend the people of Delhi who went into the polls to vote  to change. Despite the powerful central government pressure common mans party went on to win a sweeping majority to form the government. It showed that the people of Delhi have not voted based on any religious purposes or routine only vote for major party. AAP means common man party has showed to both the major parties that the people are fed up with empty and uncouth promises. I don't know what this new party will do for the bruised nation but I a certain that at least people don't tolerate any more. Give power to the people should be our cry. I remember the movie 'Indian' which showed how a common man can get frustrated with the system and start act harshly to put things in place. May be we want to see this happen in our nation. Give power to the common man, power to farmers, power to the poor tea vendor at the street corners, power to the media, power to the teacher, power to the police, power to the industrial worker irrespective of his religion, colour, caste. We need power to rule ourselves. Hence we've build a nation that Gandhi dreamed of 'a nation of equals', a nation where milk and honey will flow without ceasing, a nation of a common man, a nation of the free, a nation of the fearless.
